It is one of the most interesting sites of Valle delle Cartiere from the point of view of history and archeology, as it was a mill and also an old paper mill, probably partly enclosed by the mill itself and cited in the documents. Dating from the early eighteenth century, in the basement remain turned wood grinders and some equipment (cupboards, hoppers, wheels, etc.) used for the production of flour. The good conditions of the machinery, the necessary elements for the production of flour and the presence of an architectural and natural context of undisputed historical charm, have led the current owner, Mr. Giacomo Usardi, starting in 2003, to restore the mill.
